9 year old ww1 school trench project .
« on: November 27, 2017, 09:01:08 AM »
My wonderful Genevieve made a trench model for her school homework as they are learning of the devastation of the Great War . It took the weekend to do , made completly of scraps ,
Gravel from drive , lollipop , matchsticks , toothpicks , fuse wire etc . The figs are free from an old mag but repainted somewhat .
A jolly time spent in the barn , with Daddy just showing the way but all her own work .

That's pretty impressive (regardless of experience).

Well done to her - and you. That’ll also be a lovely future memory for you both.

Thank you everyone .
We took  the pictures in bad artificial light before school .
We hope this is a little clearer .
Genevieve will respond after school , first she will clean the chickens and practise  her spellings.

Country girl Genevieve with her trench model before taking it to school .

Genevieve would like to say a big thank you for all your kind comments . Great encouragement and she will help Daddy with other projects in the barn. Sometimes  she practices her harp which make a lovely backdrop while working in the barn.
Genevieve would like me to pass on that Baby Jesus is near , please be good and
Father Christmas is on his way . Noel !

She should get top marks for that diorama project.
It's great that your daughter has all those interests and enjoys them all. Music especially is a great thing for young brains, can't be beat.

Agree on the top marks and keeping the brain stimulated.

PS - your house looks positively charming, something we don't get down here.
