HOTT Post Apocalyptic Stronghold
« on: November 27, 2017, 10:12:21 PM »
I have just finished my Road Warrior Stronghold. It was a major conversion work which started out as a Spanish Civil War 1920s/30s armored truck. It's 10 MM scale and the base is 60 MM x 80 MM. A War Rig - The Green Dragon, and obviously heavily influenced by the Mad Max movies. I decided to do it in a dark green so as not to have it confused with The Law (police) vehicles which are black.

That's pretty cool, nice paintwork for such a small scale. I wouldn't have guessed the origin of the trick either, very nice conversion.

Thank you gentlemen,

I will be putting together a pictorial essay on the conversion of both the War Rig and the wrecked auto once the painting contest has ended, so after the first week of December. I'll look at adding that to this thread at that time.

You can see the model I started from, Pendraken SCV1, here

I'd never have thought to use HOTT for post-apoc but nice work! Would love to see some pics of your games.
