Just caught up with this thread -- wonderful models and terrain. I'm going to have to do something like that staircase!

Satyr warband

It's been a little while since my update, but this one's a doozie. I have finished another warband -- the Satyrs. In addition to that, I have posted on my blog a grand gallery of all potential warbands my players can select to create their warbands. Of note is the "build Your Own Warband" part of the blog post which has photos of all the individual (not part of a warband) figures I've painted in the last several years. Skunks, wolverines, opossums, beavers -- you name it!

These beavers are ready and willing to join your warband!  lol

Two beavers ready to be hired into a player's warband

I just posted (mainly for my players' benefit, but all are welcome to enjoy it) a compendium of all of the Splintered Light Miniatures animals that I have painted up and individually based. They're picking their warbands and getting outfitted for our first game. Check out my blog post here:

LOTS of pictures of my brushwork on SLM's cool animal figures... 8)

Three mice (not blind  lol) to be used as the core of a warband or hired out individually

My Iron Wind Metals 25mm lions

Wow...so long since I updated this thread, I fell off to page 2  lol lol!

Family issues have kept me from doing almost nothing, hobby-wise, since early February. However, life is slowly returning to normal and I am back into getting ready for my Frostgrave: Ghost Archipelago campaign. The last steps are to get the creatures for random encounters ready. Here's my post on my blog about that, including substitutions I am making to the chart published in the rules, and my rationale for doing so.

Check out Lead Legionaries for more discussion and photos!

This Iron Wind Metals prehistoric bird will be wandering my archipelago

I have to confess...the bird is painted to look like none other than "Kevin" -- the bird from my favorite animated movie, Up.  lol lol

I have two other ones in a head down and advancing pose ("Give my your chocolates!") that I will paint up to match. Thanks for the kind words, folks...

A very brief update. Giant lizards via the craft store mainstay...those clear acrylic Toob critters.

Next up, a bunch of Splintered Light Miniatures Rats, which will be my stand-in for G.A.'s Dricheans.  :)
