Anyone Make 25mm or 28mm Skeletons?
« on: November 28, 2017, 10:03:57 PM »
I need a few skeletons for a pirate game, and would like to know if anyone produces small packs of relatively anatomically correct ones, for a reasonable price?

Multi-part ones would be a plus, if available.  Weapons don't have to be carried, but might be nice too, if included.

Barring that, does anyone have a few from a larger set, they'd care to sell?

I'm in the USA, and would prefer sources from there, due to high international shipping costs.

Have you had a look on eBay, there are usually sellers who split packs and sell individual sprues, which typically hold around 5 or so models. GW and Mantic both produce skeleton kits in plastic, but both may have too many accessories moulded on to work in a pirate game?

Our US agent would be the man for you to contact, Rob Walter at EurekaUSA

If you're looking for them as terrain decorations, look on ebay and similar for the older wargames factory skeletons boxes. I find them a bit to much of a pain for use as a normal mini because they're pretty on scale for 28mm skeletons which are fiddly, but look great anywhere that you can fit them on things.

Black Scorpion did a good number of 28mm skeleton pirates, too. I'm not sure if they are still available somewhere.

Still available on their site: https://www.blackscorpionminiatures.com/index.php?cPath=25&osCsid=43cj89vof0evomg8t9tjv4t3g1

If you're looking for generic set decoration, most fantasy miniature manufacturers have some skeletons.

I'll second this - it is where most of the skeletons in my post-apocalyptic came from.

Try these - if they're what you need I'd drop  Thomas Foss a message, as the kickstarter was successful and am sure they'll be in his store soon (and he's in USA).

Someone on here is selling off items for a War Gamer's widow. I saw that he had 2 boxes of the Wargames Factory skeletons listed. Try a search. The boxes were going for $20 each and contain enough parts to make 30 skeletons.
