Slaughterloo - Hell comes to Frog Town
« on: November 29, 2017, 12:10:52 PM »
Hell comes to Frog Town.

One of the most loyal client states of the Ferach Empire, these slimy fellows are known for being somewhat cowardly.  Todoroni come in two sizes Big and Little.  Massed ranks of Militia and Garrision troops to soak up the fire of the Napoleonique Wars of Valon.

The Toads are probably my favourite race in the world of Valon.  They are also without exception the worst soldiers in the game.  With low morale, diabolical shooting and melee abilities and poor discipline this pathetic creatures find even the simplest of orders difficult to carry out without making a complete mess of it.

The Bella Lugosi Militia are rubbish; totally rubbish soldiers.  So bad in fact that even the Emperor Mordred gives them the most lack lustre duties.  That said they are easily ordered and endless in supply. Armed with Armorican Muskets and classed as Militia Infantry.

Big Todoroni of the Grenaderia are large, almost, capable troops and are armed with Armorican Muskets.

I have more of my Slaughterloo stuff on my blog here

Amazing. This reminds me of a commentator who stated he had painted up over 10 full divisions for slaughterloo.

Thanks.

I’m not really sure how many divisions worth there are here.  I would say at least 7 just based on the number of cavalry units.   I have a few divisions on undead from the Witchlands, but they are in desperate need of repair, repainting and rebasing.  A project for 2018 no doubt.

I finally managed to finish off the remaining odds and ends for my Ferach Empire.   Its been a real pleasure painting these.

Over the next few months I will try to assess what I want to include in the opposing force.  I'm thinking a heavy core of Undead Infantry with plenty of Cossack cavalry would look pretty good.  I'm also tempted to add a division of Rats.   I know they cant really ally themselves with the Undead, but it kind of fits in a bit with the fluff where the forces of Albion attempted to form an alliance with the star wraith only to be used as expendable troops and then brought back to life to bolster the undead horde.

Might I suggest a Cavalry unit for the Todoroni? Gotta love those Pigmy Hippo's.
I'm not a mercenary. Killing's more of a hobby for me.
