The Roman Emperor Aurelian
« on: December 01, 2017, 07:50:30 AM »
Hi all,
My fellow co-blogger 'Mr Steve' has put together a review of John F White's revised book about arguably one of the great Roman Emperors, Commander and philosopher, Aurelian.

I didn't know Aurelian was a philosopher?

Neither did I and I was the one who read the book .

I have had a word with the editor about sticking to Napoleonic’s

But I do think this makes my point from the review
"Be honest, how many of you have heard of him? You’re probably pretty confident with all the Early Imperial guys from Augustus until you arrive at Trajan or Hadrian and after that it all gets a little fuzzy until Constantine turns up"

Well spotted, he wasn't. I just thought I would throw that in to see if anyone really reads it :)
Note to self, must concentrate on one thing at a time.

Still I think you might find the review interesting
Cheers
JJ
