Thought you might like to see the Martians painted, they were painted by a friend of mine, Adie Burt.

He's done an excellent job on them. Sadly, I'll never get around to fighting on Mars, but I'm sure I could find a way of including these figures into my African games  ;)

Nice figs/paint job. What's with the balls on the end of the guns?

I'm a little confused about the balls as well.  Are they part of the weapon, or do they represent the destructive power of the weapon?  Or, to put it another way: If the weapon weren't being fired at that particular moment, would it still have the ball?

Nope. Not yet. I'm currently using a Wargames Foundry Darkest Africa figure for Quartermain, but I could be convinced to replace him if the Ironclad one is up to the standard of the rest of their character range :D....

You won't be disappointed with him. Straight off the front cover of LOEG, wide brimmed hat, hunting clothes and a large calibre rifle. A very nice figure. Can't wait for Nemo and the Invisible man...and of course.... Mr Hyde ;)
