fantasy characters sculpts
« on: December 04, 2017, 10:43:27 PM »
Hello guys, I'd like to show you some of my recent fantasy sculpts

they are 30mm scale, though the barbarian are big guys! I did them for Aenor Miniatures

I sculpt in beesputty and fimo with the occasional GS and magic sculpt part

first a gipsy witch with her cat

a thief (she has 2 left hand choices)

a barbarian warrior (with 2 head choices)

and I did this 2 last year, but they're still popular :)

I really like the Gypsy girl. I hope to pick her up as an add on to the Goblin KS.

You have a great skill at capturing "character" for your figures, something sadly lacking in a lot of mainstream fantasy models.

I just love your work, Sylvain. Several of these look perfect for my Conan project. Off to check Aenor Minis!

A WONDERFUL cast of characters, each with his or her own unique personality. I LOVE the Gypsy Witch in particular & the bald, bearded Barbarian has real appeal for me. VERY WELL DONE, one & all!

Nice. You're fast becoming one of my favourite sculptors. Very nice work. Great posing, great detail (not over the top as well)

Really nice!  The Gipsy witch is my favorite.  I like the thief as well, but I hate figures with wrist-to-hand joins, so I will have to give that one a miss - but it is a handsome sculpt.  Well, they all are!  Thanks for sharing.

thanks!
I can see why you don't like wrist to hand joins, they can be a pain to glue. This one is not cut at the wrist though, but at the sleeve/glove junction though, if that's change a thing

Sure is a nice looking mini. Are they cast in metal or resin?

Lovely figs !
It's sculpts like these that might lure me back to 28mm one day.

That being said, while browsing your blog I came across a 15/18mm barbarian sculpt you did, did it ever go into production and if so where might I buy one.

Here's a pic of the figure I'm talking about.

Cheers,
Stroezie.
