Oathmark Goblins Review and Comparison Pics
« on: December 08, 2017, 01:01:26 PM »
I have written a review of the new set of Oathmark Goblins, complete with assembled figures and comparison pictures. Full report on my blog, https://paintsngluenrocknroll.blogspot.co.uk/2017/12/oathmark-goblins-review.html.

For those with blogophobia, a couple of sample pictures from the review here. In summary, they are a really nice match with GW's LotR plastics.

Sculpts are great looking, size is a bit disappointing - but reasonable for what they are.  Thanks for the pics.

Size and scale could not be better if you collect GW LotR!

Thanks for the review. The faces look really good in these shots. I'm hoping to get stuck into mine over the weekend. I've got a few of the Morannon orcs kicking around doing nothing at the moment, so it's good to know that they'll work well with these.

They look great! I didn't pre-order, but I probably won't be able to resist for long.

Excellent review!
They're smaller than I thought but not so much that I'll stop calling them orcs 🙂

I think the reason a few people have expressed some disappointment at the size is that the earlier pictures, without any other figs for comparison, gave the impression (at least to me) that they were taller and bulkier figures than they are - more like the larger orc models than goblin models (even though these are in fact named "goblins", I still pictured something bigger).  I do think they look nice, and will almost certainly pick some up.  Thanks for the pictures - off to look at your full review.

How many come in a box? At what price? These may make a good looking goblin army for kings of war

Thanks for the review and comparison shots. It was helpful. I have had my eye on these figures as potential LOTR orcs.

Wow; totally under my radar, but these look very nice indeed!

They would be great as orks for the GW LotR range and equally good as goblins at larger scales.

Color me interested!  8)
