Such a lovely office - and its soon to be lumber yard - cannot exist without an equally lovely sawmill. I submit the one at Coloma, California as inspiration (it was in the mill race of that self-same sawmill that gold was discovered and the world was changed in January of 1848 - took awhile for the news to spread and the phenomena get named Forty-niners).

Rather than provide a link, simply Google, images of Coloma sawmill. And if you are lucky enough to be there on the right day, you can even see it in operation!

Thanks for the tip, I googled it and there's plenty of inspiration in the photos.

I'm planning a separate Saw Mill / Logging Camp that will be in the hills around Beverlick to give a different table to game on, the Lumber Yard will be in town for selling cut boards and other timber that's been brought in from the mill. Gives me a reason to make some lumber wagons too.

Finished the first pair of part constructed buildings for Beaverlick Falls. I've based them on 2mm mdf that's been textured, flocked and 'planted'. Lumber stacks were added and for variety between the two buildings I added some planking to one to give the impression of ongoing construction.
