Discovered my problem with the drawing too...
The drawing is for the Soviet copy of the DUKW!  It's almost the same in most respects but the load bay is different.
Fortunately the rest is an exact copy!

I'm loving this. This is the craft (well, and ...amphibious craft ). Nothing looks as crap as a render, nothing looks as cool as a competently done scratch-build.

So what about that load bay now? Do you have to change a lot about the model?

@Battle Brush Sigur - No changes, fortunately I'd noticed the load bay was different and amended it already to a normal DUKW but it puzzled me.  I figured I'd got a DUKW variant or something, the Soviet one has a fold down rear ramp.

Luckily it's as good as identical in all other respects. 

Now need to find a drawing of the MG hoop so I can add that in as an option.
