All,
Five pulse pounding turns!.
A random die roll gave the Germans the initiative, and of course the Germans all moved with no extreme effects from the cards. The Cultists followed the same course, and closed in on the downed plane.
Turn two saw the action opening across the board. The MG34 opened fire using its Quick Shot option, and bought down on cultist. The German Lieutenant moved in on the downed plane, and passed both peril and plot point challenges with ease. The British pilot was now in German control. The cultists tried to slow down the German movement, but only inflicted minor damage. Dr. Venck, safely hidden on a copse of trees, sniped away at any German that came close.
Turn three saw the Germans holding the initiative. The German officer moved towards the table edge slowy with the injured Biritsh flyer (no running allowed). The cultists did what they could, but seemed unable to stop the Germans.
Turn four saw three cultists off the board to one German, while the German officer continued his progress towards safety. Dr. Venck continued to harass the German troops.
Turn five, too late for the cultists, the German MG34 was knocked off the table, but the German officer made good his run to safety with the British flyer.
A quick, fun game. Interesting how different it plays when you only concentrate on a single plot point.
