Proposed 15mm Sumerian Range
« on: December 12, 2017, 01:21:08 AM »
Eureka miniatures are taking pre-orders for a 15mm Ancient Sumerian range that is yet to be made, and apparently it is almost three quarters of the way there. The range is to be sculpted by Alan Marsh who did there 15mm Hawaiian and Mound Builder ranges so they will no doubt be very nice sculpts. Here is the link if anybody is interested in what should be a nifty little range.

I have been putting together a list for both DBA and ADLG. It's the Biblical army I've always wanted.

Suggesting figures be based on/modelled using the Eureka 28mm Sumerian Range for reference. The basic 15mm range would consist of the following proposed codes:

Command (300SUM01)
4+ poses (Gilgamesh, general figure, standard bearer, 3x Royal Guardsmen.

Nic at Eureka Miniatures (nicr@eurekamin.com.au) is looking for an indication of how many of each code people would be interested in. He can then collate your request with others and if he can achieve a total of AUD$4000.00 of presales the project will go ahead. Foot figures will cost AUD$0.80 each, the battle carts will cost AUD$10.00 each and the straddle carts will cost AUD$7.00 each. All the above are plus 10% GST for Australian customers.

That should be a great range -- I'm sure Nic will do a good job providing a very nice variety of types and poses.

Nic said this was about 75% funded but he only plans on keeping it open for another week, so now is the time to place your order!  He can be reached at nicr (at) eurekamin.com.au

From Nic about a week ago: "We have two weeks to go before we close the doors on the 300 Club Sumerian Project.

We still need AUD$1000.00 to be pledged before we can commit to making the figures. That means we have raised 75% of the money needed. So, if during the Christmas and New year period, you contact any friends who have shown an interest but haven’t made a decision to pre-order yet, get them to write to us as soon as possible.

this Eureka will be closed between 23rd December and 2nd January, and it would be lovely to see an Inbox full of customers asking for Sumerians when we return!

Thank you for all your interest so far. If you are looking for further inspiration, have a look at this excellent blog http://sumer2sargon.blogspot.com.au/201 ... lcome.html"
