Any who this is his war and so far (liberated from the stuff i was saving for myself, oooh that's good dad can I have it)

Rekindled my own interest as well bless him
Chronomancer and captain
Barbarian infantry man and archer

My son is like that! It doesn't matter what cunning plans I prepare, or what tactics I employ, his elementalist just strolls around incinerating everything!

Are you playing a campaign? We (with some friends) are very slowly working through the Thaw of the Lichlord, and really enjoying how the characters seem to develop along with the narrative.

Bearwoodman : Gm'd him through the dark alchemy solo scenarios and he loved it. Now level 8 with shopping trolley full of potions.

Crumbled a walkway from beneath the feet of the monstrosity which softened it up nicely for his barbarian despatch.

Took all the treasures from the burning skeleton run then got really edgy about the time constraints of the spreading flames, edge of his seat and conservatively withdrew with two treasures and four turns remaining.

One thing that did come up he rolled an animate construct scroll in the after game debrief and asked if he could take one of the fire flingers he'd x'd in the final scenario, as he was quite taken with them.

Couldn't find anything contrary in the rules and couldn't think of a reason not to let him as it added quite a nice narrative touch dragging it off the battlefield and restoring it to life.
Hence 'Flame'  was resurrected and added to his warband.

Flame is played by the metal and bone privateer press miniature (i forget the name of it)above with blonde barbarian.

Love to here your thoughts on this
Cheers

I've not played through that scenario, and I would not claim to be a world authority on Frostgrave, but based on my personal experience that is exactly how the game should be played! The author does, I think, encourage players to play the rules the way they want to and, as you say, that sort of incident adds narrative interest. I wonder if your son will be more cautious when deploying Flame than his other minions, knowing that Flame is a one-off and will be gone for good if destroyed. Your son will not want to go back to animating boring old normal constructs, will he? And then maybe you can use that caution against him... >:D

Bearwoodman- it's funny he reanimates an armoured flame throwing murder machine and treats it like some sort of endearing three legged stray dog.

Bless him
Haven't had the heart to X his favourite pet yet but that can always change lol

Great looking table! Being indigestible is a very important skill for a Frostgrave adventurer ... God knows how hungry the locals are!
