28mm weapons?
« on: December 18, 2017, 07:11:49 AM »
Does anyone make weapons packs? I'm thinking Colt revolvers, Winchestr rifles and Cavalry carbines.

 ???

You would think this is something obvious that people would want, so it would be readily available.
You would be quite mistaken.
I've been looking for quite some time, and have yet to find a source.

I have a pack with 4 Colts and 4 Winchesters (almost, the model is quite approximate).
I am quite sure I found it in the shop of Dead Man Hand but now I'm unable to find it... ???

Conquest Miniatures did do a weapons sprue with a Winchester, Sharps and a couple of revolvers which used to come with their comanche - no idea if they still do it or would be prepared to sell it separately?

I believe Conquest is out of business. They sold their product line to Warlord Games. Warlord sells the Conquest Comanches, but doesn't list the weapon sprue as a separate item. Maybe if you email them, they'll be willing to sell you a few of the sprues. Shmaybe:

Monday Knight Productions has a 25mm Old West weapon sprue associated with their item 35307 Open Handed Indian With Weapons. If you're painting 'heroic' 28mm figures, you may find the MKP weapons are too small. At one time I think MKP listed the sprue as a separate item, but not currently. Again, maybe if you email them they'll sell you a few copies of the sprue. I would, but you know how I am:
