I like very much your color palette!

No wonder you need so many mammoths, with so many hunters to feed!

Fantastic job on this project!

The tribe, which they called The Tribe...

 lol lol lol

You have 35 tribes men and women although if I'm counting right only 5 of these are women.

I don't see much future for them in the procreating race. The small amount of reading I've done seems to imply that certainly Neanderthal women had the same sort of broken bone damage the men had, so the conclusion is they hunted as a mixed group, I think the figure manufacturers are missing out here.
Looking forward to your continuing adventures in the Neolithic age.
Cheers

I think that you are a very bad influence, Vagabond, old bean.
I mean, you have just given the poor chap a valid excuse for purchasing even more cavewoman, haven't you...?

Thanks all, appreciate the feedback. I'm happy to read both the serious and the humorous responses.

Still have another two dozen unpainted males, split between the three main mfgrs. My projects tend take on a life of their own, so quantity creep is a common occurrence.   ::)  I'm always on the hunt for bargains, and will pick up dupe figures for customization, so that doesn't help either.

Regarding the balance of the sexes, I got this going for me.

Two sets of Copplestone will be painted as is, but with a mix of weapons. The last set will serve for customization.  I do agree there could be more actively posed females.

And the male hunters say - "what's taking so long?"

Great choice of minis!

The Tin Man cavegirl is an amazing sculpt!   :-* :-* :-* :-* :-*

Vagabond, as far as I can see, in Palaeo Diet the starting scenario needs only 4 hunters - so the Copplestone Cavewomen pack is just perfect for this!  ;)

What to say about a ruleset that encourages us to slaughter defenseless furry animal and play with half naked girls in the wild? OMG, I MUST BUY THIS!!! lol lol lol lol lol

Your painted tribesmen look wonderfully scruffy, and love the mammoths coded by flower colour. Loving this thread! Must resist new project...

I thought you did this every weekend.

Interesting movie clip as well, the Neolithic is catching on.

The girls part more than every weekend, but the hunting part (European wild boar) only in the winter months!  :D

Interesting movie clip as well, the Neolithic is catching on.

Paleolithic, isn't it?  :D

Hard to resist that trend anyway! Planning to buy the Palaeo Diet rules just to try a mammoth hunt with my Moderns/Sci-Fi crew... using the herd of Papo mammoths someone left for me under that stupid pine tree in the living room! ;D

EDIT: And the alternative paleo hunters are already painted!  ;)
