I thought they were bigger, but when you line them up they fit quite well.

plus the heads should easily fit into the Cadian torso if you want some rougher looking Imperial Guardsmen or Mechanics.

Thanks, that is useful to know.. I am sure I have seen that hairstyle on the cover of a Black Library book.

Nice job on the figures as well.

Thanks for the side by side. They look pretty cool and good together.

Thanks Guys!  :)

Next up is some Grimdark civilians, just because I like gluing 40k bitz to fantasy figures for some reason  ;).

First civillian is a tavern owner in the Underhive of Necromunda because all my gangers need someone to pour their drinks!

He's a reaper 03859: Townsfolk - Cooper model with an imperial logo for his keg and a bionic eye for precision ale pouring.

Next up is a poor little abhuman beastman... he's a little down on his luck but I still like him.

He's off the Privateer Press Blindwater Brew Witch Doctor kit.

Next up will be a Knight Armiger squire and some more Necromunda stuff.
Thanks for reading  :)

Nice, I like the "precision ale pouring". Reminds me of Terry Pratchett's HUD usage.

Thanks mate  ;).

Next up is the first of alot of proxy models for "Hangers On" in Necromunda starting with a Dome Runner.

He's a Reaper Chronoscope: 50123: Space Hero model with a Gw Orlock Ganger head.

I imagine him as an old grizzled House Orlock ganger who gave up the life to move uphive and it didn't quite work out for him so he sells his knowledge of the underhive to anyone that will take him in.

Thanks for reading  :).

Fantastic pieces, Darathar! Very well done. If you're open to a franchise-neutral, multiverse Sci-Fi Skirmisher, all of your models would work beautifully for Starfall as well: https://elijahkellogg.wixsite.com/starfall.

I've somehow managed to miss this thread previously.  I like what you're doing, particularly the re-purposing of non-sci-fi figures.

Love the imagination at work here. The dome runner is great.

It's not big, or clever, but let's do it anyway

All nice but that dome runner is particularly good.

I'm holding off for the Van Saar. Still not convinced to try the new Necromunda but I'm certain I can find uses for those figs.

Thanks alot guys I appreciate the kind words!  :).

Thanks Burma44 I downloaded Starfall it looks good, and a good way for me to play mantic Veer-myn (Space Skaven) vs the Imperium or the Inquistion.

Next up is a Knight Armiger Squire/Pilot

He's a Privateer Press Cygnar Journeyman Warcaster with that awful sword cut off and given a real weapon.

Next up is an old Necromunda Bounty hunter I did a few years back

He's a Reaper: 03307: Kalrix, Male Warrior with parts from the GW Tempestus Scions and cadian command and heavy weapons kits added.

Thanks for reading  :).

Of course! I just knew you'd love Starfall with all the sweet kit-bashing you do. And the new version drops in like two days, so you're checking it out just in time! Mixing Veer-myn with the Inquisition is exactly why Starfall exists. haha We've got a growing FB group too if you do the FB: https://www.facebook.com/groups/198523234074229/

Thanks alot guys!  :).

My perilous quest to convert all fantasy miniatures to sci-fi continues!

Here is another Necromunda hired gun, this time Hive scum...

He's a Reaper Pathfinder 60026: The Scribbler with weapons from a Chaos Cultist.

Next is a npc Necromunda Guilder with a Xenos Monkey.

He's a Reaper Pathfinder 60133: Katapesh Merchant with an obligatory bionic eye (to ensure "fair trade") .

Thanks for reading.
