Indian weapons: bronze or iron?
« on: January 05, 2018, 10:18:15 AM »
Hi

I was wondering if someone could give some idea about what kind of metal used, commonly, Indian warriors at the time of Alexander, if bronze or iron. I am painting a few units to use against my daughter's Macedonians, but can't find the information I am looking for.

Thanks in advance and a (late) Happy New Year

Iron was in use in India by circa 1000BC so I 'd say Iron

Ancient north Indians were not a low-tech or disorganised people, though they lagged badly in horse-breeding.
The laws of probability do not apply to my dice in wargames or to my finesses in bridge.
