Shields are current plastics from the ironbreaker/hammerer set? An elite infantry unit at any rate. Check out the sprues on the GW website.

A change of decade, a change of system. Some Lotr - these metal orcs were re-released in a very small window (one week).



And here they are with some plastic compatriots, mostly GW though look closely and you will spot an intruder.

Thank you Andrew, I feel guilty that I have some of your fine figures but have never painted them. Maybe this year...

And I am going to be making painting videos to share my technique, tips, etc. Stay tuned.  :D
