Entirely gorgeous. Love the way you sneaked a shield from ‘Vikings’ in there  8)

Fantastic! Best painted versions of them I’ve seen! Way better than the studios! :-*

Sorry, just something else.....how fragile are these models? They look quite delicate! :?

Not sure on the fragility, not played a game with them yet. There are lots of thin bits and you do occasionally catch them as you paint, not broken yet. Only time will tell. If you feel like you are a bit clumsy with stuff, probably not for you.

Painted some more of the spirits.

And for a change of pace, some Mordor orcs. There's a big horde of them on my blog - https://paintsngluenrocknroll.blogspot.com/2018/08/more-mordor-orcs.html

Great painting Nord. I really like the LoTR models, especially the Mordor Orcs and Rohirrim.  You mention the Orcs not being your best painted but they are painted. When you are having fun with them on the table, nobody is going to notice there isn't 7 layers of blending on their boot laces.

Hot Mordor action..
You prompt me to digg up mine.
I always wanted to try LOTR but when it was hot I spent my miniature budget on Necromunda and Epic and later only kids played it (due to magazine trade style - it was most popular when biweekly LOTR magazines with miniature was at hing).

Ive bought me some Orks when kids were selling out 10 years later but there was just no play time around my group.
I hope something will move now :>

Finally got these lads finished, started them back in 2016. This little collection represents my whole time in the hobby, some of these figures going back to 1992.

Really nice painting.  What I especially like is that your painting is not one style.  You seem to adapt your style for the miniature rather than force the miniature into your style.  Comparing the dwarfs and the wraiths and the Mordor orcs you wouldn't say they were obviously painted by the same person.
