(Commercial) 9th Age Rules books: Second Edition

Hi all,

The final second edition of The 9th Age is settled and these rule will remain in place for many years. And you can order them in Amazon.de! They also ship to the Netherland, for example. And they are cheap! Mind you these are the "slim" books without art and stories; just rules.

After the early adeptors (players that jumped from 8th to 9th Age in 2015), the game is picking up tracktion at the moment. We found that many players that have there armies in the closet are lurking towards systems. We hosted two tables at Poldercon and had 8 former WFB players try out 9th Age, and, judging from their comments, they had a blast and all of them found the game system fun and fluent. Some even joined the app-groups / facebook groups.  In Holland we have one or two tournaments each month, and local scenes are reviving, like The Hague, Heerhugowaard and Zwolle. The 3 years of perfecting the rules paid off, it seems. And now its stable for years to come.

Thanks for posting these links; I've been looking to get the current rule book after Poldercon (yes; I was one of those 8 players ), and didn't have much luck. But I'll look into getting one now!

As I commented this weekend; I really liked the rules. They're fast and simple but with just the right amount of flavour to make it a perfect spiritual descendant of WHFB. Anyone who ever played WHFB will find these rules very intuitive.

I had a blast playing, and I will certainly be playing 9th age again. Now, if only that Lap Around rule for Hobgoblins had also been implemented...
