I love these Galloping Major figures and you,ve  “done them proud “ . This is one of my favourite periods and I have these figures awaiting paint .  I was thinking the Royal American Regt as they had no lace .

As a Pennsylvanian I heartily approve! I love the nice dark green you achieved.

Very nice indeed. Some of my most favourite figures from the Galloping Major range are the Provincials. :)

Lovely painting on some lovely figures, I painted some of these a while back and they were a joy to paint. :)

First class work, and your basing is up to the level of your painting. I learned recently that the Pennsylvania Regiment was very active in General Forbes campaign against Fort Duquesne, so there's a goldmine of big and small historical scenarios, if that's what you like.
You'll shoot your eye out, kid!

Lovely painting and rather unusual to see provinicials actually painted in green.  Love them.

Thank you very much gentlemen! :)

@Zippyfusenet

Yes, I think it would make for some fun Sharp Practice Scenarios.

@Jeff965

Indeed you did and mighty fine work indeed! It seems we both like the green uniform. :D

Lovely work.  I have provincials on my own painting table - not these though.

That book linked to above - at $50 freaking bucks for a paperback! - I'd like to know more: is it well illustrated in color, does it have orders of battle, good maps, etc.?  I'm sure I'm not the only one interested.  For that kind of price for a paperback, it might need to also wash dirty dishes before I'll splurge.

Again, lovely work.  One of my favorite periods, too.
