Butcher, yeah!  :D

Time to take stock of the terrain parts, which are almost exclusively from OSHIROmodelterrain. All the tiles are 30 x 30 cm with separate road sections.

This is what I’ve started:

I’ve now got the lasered windows for the church and the kit that I’ll use for the parsonage (though I’ve decided to change the front door layout, for which a new piece is being ordered):

A residential tile that has a facade of 4 narrow houses fronted by three wider terraced houses:

A residential tile that has a facade of 4 narrow houses fronted by two wider terraced houses then at the end of this terrace a shop:

And finally (for the mo) a combination of large police station, a shop and a pub:

Ps: the kits also come with roof tiles, which aren’t shown.

Who’d have thought town planning could be so much fun  8) :D

Which is an appropriate moment to flag the model Whitechapel ‘train set’ that featured in one of the  train crash episodes of Ripper Street:

But sadly no vampires

The Ripper Street set? I didn’t build that Giles, though I see how my post could be read that way. I was just showing it as something that has inspired me. It was a lovely model railway: my Whitechapel layout will likely gain a viaduct and train at some point but it won’t be electrified!  :)
