Great photos Steve. The set up is really impressive too, I hadn't realised the church was so big, that's going to look suitably imposing.

Cheers Steve  :D.
The Spitalfields church dominates its immediate locality so that’s what I went for.

Also probably a good point for me to add a link to my post LPL summary:

 :D

I’m sure I’ll consider a few more bits in due course ....

(though I have  ideas for more tiles already formulating, such as an elevated railway and some Georgian style terrace houses).

I can help you with both of those  :D

...... in time  ;)

I just added an index to page 1 and while doing so I realised that I had yet to explain the background to the project and what I aspire it to be. So, in case there’s interest:

Whitechapel Horror! is my project to create a solo and cooperative game of Victorian Gothic Horror. The setting is Whitechapel, in the destitute East End of London, just before the turn of the 19th century. Hiding in plain sight, vampires have made this area their home. Though terrified of the regular bloodletting, Whitechapel's residents are ignorant of the bloodlust that moves freely amongst them.  But the vampire presence isn’t unknown to all: there are vampire hunters - bold and brave men and women - who have become aware of this evil and hunt it down, determined to eliminate it first in Whitechapel and then from England.

Sufficient progress with assembly to show how the table is coming together. Apart from the slaughterhouse, all tiles are unfinished.

The overhead view:

Front view of a new tile, showing police station cells and entrance then what will be a hardware store to its right:

Overhead of the new tile; back section behind the store is a pub:

Rear entrance to the cop shop:

The wooden clad bump out is for access from the pub to its yard:

Better view of hardware store:

Access to the residences above the pub and store:

Location of a single story lean-to style building that will butt onto the side of the police station: will be a watchmakers workshop:

Looking down the central street (games will be as if at night so sight lines will be limited):

View of another new tile of residences:

The shared courtyard between two rows of residences:

View across the end of the courtyard:

Front of the church (much assembly to do):

Side of the church showing  position of rectory:

Factory behind the church:

Gap between the two factory units where an office ‘bridge’ with gates below  will be fitted between the two parts:

Certainly will be. And when it’s finished I’ll still be able to add more plus extras like guttering, street lamps etc.

That is amazing! It's the Victorian Street board I could only imagine. Stunning work already and that's before painting.
