Thanks chaps. Aldo very much looking forward to a game.  :D.

That's a fine collection of figures there, topped off by that marvellous cab. Jaque is a particularly nice conversion.

Does Jacques remind you of someone?

Thanks chaps - much appreciated  :D

Almost, but Jacques looks taller.

He’s quite a bit shorter than a normal Project Z mini because I cut the parts down quite a bit. Mind you, that leaves him only a tad shorter than his Wargames Illustrated opponent.

George and Jacques: arch enemies (for size comparison)

Not a lot of progress with painting, as I’ve been distracted by Old West and WW2, but have painted up some  scatter items by Oshiro, 2 crates and a stack of lumber.

The crate works perfectly for the transportation of a vampire, as described by Bram Stoker in Dracula.....

Quote
Straight in front of us and not far off-in fact, so near that I wondered we had not noticed before came a group of mounted men hurrying along. In the midst of them was a cart, long leither-wagon which swept from side to side, like a dog's tail wagging, with each stern inequality of the road. Outlined against the snow as they were, I could see from the men's clothes that they were peasants or gypsies of some kind.

On the cart was a great square chest. My heart leaped as I saw it, for I felt that the end was coming. The evening was now drawing close, and well I knew that at sunset the Thing, which was till then imprisoned.......

Obviously they’ll be useful for other projects as well.

Lovely colours on those pieces. I've bought the same pieces myself and they're very nice indeed.

Crate sales are up? That can only mean one thing - vampires! Or maybe other produce that can be readily crated, but that's not nearly so as exciting as vampires!
