Great work Steve. I like the thinking behind changing the roof for ease of access to the yard. I've seen mono-pitched roofs like that on Victorian industrial buildings before, possibly designed like that to improve natural light, especially if used in conjunction with high level windows and/or roof lights.

Cheers Steve. I’ve also learned about saw-toothed roofs, butterfly roofs, ...... so many different types of roof ...  :D

Saw tooth roofs would like great for a row of little workshops.

Clapboards now fitted to the joinery workshop.

Quite a fiddle to do. OSHIROmodelterrain used strip balsa on their clad buildings (see Limehouse thread), an approach that I copied. I didn’t have thin balsa to hand so cut 5mm widths and then cleaved them into thin strips. There are a few gaps that will need filling but that’s it for the time being for this build, pending roof tiling.
