Victorious Miniatures Boxer Rebellion
« on: February 02, 2018, 08:10:09 PM »
I am considering options to add numbers and variety to my Copplestone Chinese bandits, and am wondering if the Boxer Rebellion range from Victorious Miniatures is a good fit for size.

My bad, but I admit I hadn't even heard of this manufacturer until I saw something on WI Prime about additions to the range.

Has anyone used them with Copplestone, or know how the two compare for height and bulk?

Thanks in anticipation of the usual helpful answers.

Hi
They are compatible with Mark Copplestone's figures, Mark Sims is the sculptor [Crusader miniatures].

I have painted over a hundred of the Chinese bandit figures from the Copplestone range, they inspired me to do this range for the Boxer rebellion, the clothing is very similar and the figures can be used for quite a wide time period.

One of the swordsmen with the turban and no shirt is slightly larger but not all men are the same size and this makes a nice mix.

 Hope that helps.

Hi Keith

Thanks very much for the quick and helpful reply.

You do seem pretty well qualified to make a reliable recommendation, and i shall be ordering some packs of the riflemen and swordsmen at least.

Hi Keith

Thanks very much for the quick turnaround on my order.  The riflemen pack looks very good, and I wish there were a few more rifle armed figures in the range as I would have ordered them too!

Best wishes
Sir Rodney

......a happy customer, hope to have some more figures next month, but that's down to the sculptor.
