Retirement, I wish

Got several large commissions on the go eating up most of my time but I've been getting in a bit of tarting up time here and there and here are some more Empire troops that have been tarted and rebased

The original work on them was done years ago and they probably would've done but it'll be good to get all my Empire troops to the same standard (sort of).

They look GREAT! Love the stone troll back on the other page too! I have a big tub full of them, I was going to do a troll army back in the days when you could have one. Who was it, Throg maybe?

I'm going to have to go back and do some painting now too!!!

I to am doing a bit of Properhammer painting to. It is a bit disconcerting that second hand ebay items you are looking for to filll some gaps cost as much or more than they did back in the day. I should have made an even more substantial investment.

What rule edition do you use for Old warhammer?
Back in the day my brother, Andym, had an empire army but most of the troops didn't have arms nor were they fully painted

That was in the days before he was shamed by LAF
I have an old Dwarf army that I may have to get out and have a look at, also a woodelf army as well

Got some more done. Just touching up on these, bases, matt varnish and sorting the horses out (snapped tails etc) etc.

Fortunately I think I’ve got everything want but of course that will probably change in the future

Nothing yet mate but it will possibly be a fantasy mod of M&T or the eventual mass battle rules from Fistful of Lead.

I have ten or so that I got in a long ago trade, with a sub-standard paint job. Had to do like you mentioned too, drill/pin to reattach the broken off tails.

I think mine need an upgraded paint job now!
