Finished off some more Empire troops (so many more to go though

). Got another seven or so spearmen to do then I'll take a group photo of all the Empire troops so far.

The 'free company' troops will be a naval crew for my river patrol boat (when I repair it).

The muted tones on the archers, mixed in with the state colours looks spot on whilst also adding a splash of 'non-colour' to add interest to the force as a whole.

The naval crew look great too, almost piratical.
Nice transitional work on the banner.

Yeah, it turned out to be a good way to do them. Some greyer colours for the next batch I think.

I try to do one colour a night (triad) but it's usually two or three colours a week. They've been primed since October last year

Yes, I've got a couple more converted. It's turned out to work quite well

Have to wait for the solvent glue to go off before drilling though otherwise they end up wonky
