Scale75 steampunk collection
« on: February 04, 2018, 04:35:48 PM »
One of my hobby goals for the year is to paint more variety of models as a way to push my skills and test out ideas. I'm not too keen on certain design elements of the scale 75 miniatures but they are sufficiently different to what I normally paint as to provide a good challenge. The first model is a 1/12 bust, the first bust I've ever painted.  It wasn't exactly the easiest bust to choose as my first, the pale skin and non-metallic metal would have been difficult even at my preferred scale and looking at the photos I can see a few flaws here and there but overall I'm happy with the finished piece.

That's extremely well done.  Very smooth.

Personally not much taken with the subject, but the painting is very fine.
