Three Kingdoms Korean Halberdiers and Swordsmen
« on: February 05, 2018, 09:03:01 PM »
We've just added two new codes to our Three Kingdoms Korean range in 15mm -- armoured swordsmen and armoured halberdiers.  Both have shields -- the figurines are one piece. Available now:

Tempting...

The figures in this range look a bit slimmer than those of some others - a different sculptor, I presume?

I know that laf is primarily a 28mm hangout but I’m glad people put up with my 15mm stuff. :-)

To be honest I think you might be pleasantly surprised by the larger 15s I’m making currently. Quite a lot of this stuff is coming for the 13-16th centuries. They are just a little bigger than normal 15s so can be used with them, but the slight difference in size makes a world of difference. Our late 14th century range is a great example of how unlike typical 15s these 15s are ....

Those are great miniatures - if I ever get back into DBA or anything else in 15mm I'll be sure to bear them in mind and recommend them to others.

By the way, is there any evidence for the application of lacquer to ancient Korean armour?
