« on: February 07, 2018, 11:46:51 AM »
I recently finished painting the new House Goliath gangers and here they are -

You can read the background to them on my blog here - https://vampifansworldoftheundead.blogspot.co.uk/2018/02/necromunda-house-goliath-gangers-01.html

They look very smart - I especially like how much impact the red details have on the scheme overall, considering how little red there actually is. :)

What the Major says.

The limited palatte really works and the red really pops :)

@Major Gilbear and Inso. Many thanks, guys. The red does pop, which is just the effect I was hoping for.  :D

I've enjoyed your work for years and, whilst there's a lot about Newcromunda I'm not happy with, am really looking forward to see what you do with it.

Your Goliath look fantastic; a real gutsy and bright scheme.

Here are some very rare Necromunda figures. The Goliath with the shotgun was produced by Heresy Miniatures many years ago. The other two were produced by TT Combat and were only available for sale during the Black Friday/Cyber Monday weekend of November 2017.

Very good.

Work like this keeps making me think about getting Necromunda.

Welcome back to t'Hive, pardner!  :D

I really don't understand the appeal of steroid-high, anabolized neo-barbarians with big guns and certainly small tools... but I like them!  ;D

And just one word for your: ESCHER!!!  lol lol lol lol lol

P.S.> I see an evolution of the bases from your previous gang to this new one... maybe someday you will realize the wonders of clear plastic bases!  ;)

Thank you kindly, Dino.  8)

Will it surprise you at all to hear that House Escher is my favourite house? I thought not!  :D

I'll be showcasing them very soon as I'm currently painting the new plastic Escher gangers.  :-*

Regarding my bases. I'm trying to move away from plastic slottabases where I can and using MDF bases instead. Sorry to say I'm not a fan of transparent bases!  :-[

I'm digging this project.  I finally broke down and put my set on order today so I hope to be returning to the hive soon myself.  Are the vibrant pastels on the TT combat model a preview for your Escher gang?

They're not transparent, they're INVISIBLE!  ;)  And they completely solve the problem of the figure taking debris and mud all over the furniture when moved inside buildings and into vehicles!  :D

Absolutely! Although having seen Pappa Midnight's excellently painted Eschers, I might copy his idea of giving them white faces. See here - http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=106990.msg1334480#msg1334480
