Cheeky double post so this isn’t lost at the bottom of a page  :)

Painted a Hackney carriage for me (there’s a commissioned Mariah to show tomorrow).

It’s a bit rushed in places as I just wanted it done and out the way.

Thanks gents  :)

Excellent- was it fun to assemble?

Not as bad as the four wheeled ones (the Mariah was a sod but more on that later). The only odd decision was sculpting passengers then filling in around them so they are obscured. I understand the thought behind it but a better choice would’ve been to have a separate little plug in maybe?

Ta  :D

Black Mariah next. This one had a wonky bottom that needed filling and straightening and then the details along the sides adding again towards the bottom. It's done though and they will look good on the table top.

And here they are all together  :)

Nice bit of Victorian background stuff and extremely well painted. Good for objectives too.

Some lovely additions there, mate.
A cracking little 'fleet' of conveyances to populate your streets.

Really need to start employing some street sweepers soon, though.....

The Mariah has come out very well indeed. ;D

Time to think about investing in some more conveyances for the Great London Carriage Race 1890....! ;)  lol

To which I immediately thought of a scene from a B&W old west movie, where settlers in a variety of contraptions are lined up for a race west to claim plots of land. I’ve no idea what the movie was called.
