Thanks fellas  :)

You really are adding a load of filth to this project, aren't you?
 ;)

It needs to be accurate  lol

Blue Moon, right?

Foundry for the most part with a couple of others of which I can’t quite remember.
cheers

They are anything but innocent.

Nicely painted though  :)

Got one of the warehouses almost done, just a corrugated roof to put on (which is in the garage drying).

Cemetery next I think as we’ll hopefully be using it next weekend in a sort of test game.

This thread is like an enjoyable version of Grand Designs, sans the irritating yuppy bastards who casually reveal they have gone £400,000 over budget on the endangered hardwood floors and throw cushions in the subterranean living space.

I reckon Jim should comission a 28mm Kevin McCloud figure to include for size reference in all shots. Ideal for WIP photos.

Bloody nice, as usual.

Yeah, great colours! :-*

How are you giving your brick texture? Is that paint 'flicked' on?

After a fashion, yes but using spray cans.

I really like to have big buildings on my gaming tables for the look of it, although I noticed that they are in fact somewhat difficult to use. Actually most rule systems allow a normal move of around 6" . I played a lot of games where miniatures were mostly running around buildings playing hide and seek without ever getting a LOS to an opponent. That made some rather boring games without much action and time running short in the end or no results at all, when there was a limited number of turns agreed on before the game.

Great building anyway! I wish I had it...

Interesting point. We’ve never had a problem with that so far although the tables we play on are quite small with only five/six figures per side. There can be quite a bit of melee when we play which negates the problem somewhat.

Just limit the move distance?  Moving in built up areas normally requires a bit of caution, combined with a brief violent dash across open roads.

Gorgeous looking Warehouse - is this headed for the catalogue at some point?
