Had a 1919 North West Frontier clash with the Men Who Would Be Kings on Thursday, interesting game and opportunity to get under used figures on table. Write up and Pictures on the blog. https://gapagnw.blogspot.com/…/the-men-who-would-be-kings-p…

Wow, incredible. I'm working on this theatre and time period as well. Great job, highly motivational!

The rules aren't really designed for post 1900, but you seem to have made them work.
Triumph & Tragedy would probably work even better for your period, to be honest. I've only played them once several years ago doing between the wars Italians vs Abysinnians, and they worked brilliantly for that, which isn't that dissimilar to 1919 3rd Afghan War.

I can recommend Triumph and Tragedy too - it's what I'll use when I eventually get some opposition for my Brits.

I gotta say, while it's not hard to tell that those are the extruded (white bubble) foam from looking at them, they look good enough that I don't care!  I think you've achieved a very nice balance with those.  And the game looks like it was a lot of fun!  :)

Cheers Hupp and at em. These belong to Chris who organised the game, I remember using them twenty years ago, they need a bit of repairing now to be honest but still give a nice effect and of course very cheap.
