1812 Uniforms
« on: April 22, 2018, 12:41:00 AM »
I got some 1812 British (and some French) and am trying to find good sites which show their uniforms and how I can paint them.
Google has been less then helpful.

I've just googled 1812 Napoleonic British Infantry and there is a lot of information out there. In fact that is probably your main problem, information overload.
Can you be a little more specific about the information you're after, is it a particular Regiment or theatre of operations?
What make figures have you bought?

Cheers, Jeff

Some are Warlord some are Vetrix some are I don't know metals lol
All 28mm.

All but the metals I will paint for around 1812 in Europe (western Europe not Eastern Europe)
for the metals its North America for the skirmishes and battles in Canada and upper USA.

Les Uniformes pendant la campagne des Cent Jours - Belgique 1815 has a lot of good info for the Waterloo campaign but a lot of the uniforms are valid from 1812.
