Thanks Doug.

Yeah the engine part sounds rather wrong... Maybe just remove that line in the desciption.
Comparing this kitbash with the regular ships from the game I lack the number or size of engines. So I wanted some kind of explanation to why that was. Maybe they are strong enought but have a lower max speed.

I wanted some small armament for close protection against small pirates band or its like. This is meant to be able to be sent to the front line.
Future auxilia shiptypes might not carry guns.

Absolutely! Just meant anyone asking for MORE ordinance, as I assume rail guns indicated heavies, is missing the point.  ;)

An AAR from Filips and mine latest Dropfleet game.

It was some time since last game and we had forgotten some of the rules but we had lots of fun.

The UCM forces had located a couple of militarybases in close proximity on the iceplanet of Rafrurn that would be a nice target for ground forces. To get a stable foot on the ground firmy secured.

PHR ships was noticed closing in on the same location...
Had enemy spotters seen our movement, eather by ground or aerial spotters? Had the UCM fleet been observed in space? Was there an spy in the fleet?
Or could it just be that the PHR forces at random just happen to be at the same place at the same time?

I see I have totally forgotten to update this thread. Sorry for that.

The United Colonies of Mankind have come in contact with forces of the Post Human Republic yet again over the planet of Solvor.

In this area of conflict we find two larger cities and orbiting these are two military space stations. The weaponry on the space stations are currently off line but should be in good shape and could be put back in to work, someone just need to land troops on the large space stations to activate them again.

Two brand new San Francisco class Troopships, marked 134 and 135.

http://nidavellir-shipyard.blogspot.com/2018/09/san-francisco-troopships-134135.html

My UCM wanted to have the ability to drop more boots on the ground and I really wanted to try out the San Francisco. With two ships I can drop 6 infantry tokens in one turn.

The B12 was and still is a Greenhouse space station. Originally constructed to offer fresh vegetables to the serving men and women of the growing human space population.

I'm loving this thread and everything in it 8)

Last Friday night, two friends and I played our first game of Dropfleet Commander, after having the boxes lying around for over a year, and this thread is just fueling the desire to finish more ships! At the very least I will post a small update in my own thread with some pictures...

Great stuff; please keep it up! :)
