James; nice brushwork! 8) But I can't get over how far the WotC Yuzzem mini is removed from how I originally imagined them ::)

Akula: Yuzzems are from one of the first Star Wars novels; Splinter of the Mind's Eye. It takes place somewhere between ANH and ESB and possibly was a screenplay originally.

It details the exploits of Luke and Leia (pre-revelation, so a bit awkward in some scenes lol ) on an Imperial planet where they get into trouble with Imperial forces whilst undercover. Leia ends up in prison, and befriends two Yuzzem in the same cell, who then help her and Luke find the Splinter  of the Mind's Eye (a Force enhancing crystal), while being chased by Darth Vader through the jungle.

Pretty cool book; I read it somewhere in the eighties and until Heir to the Empire, it was the only Extended Universe novel next to Han Solo at Star's End.

Thanks chaps  :)

The stamp on the original base was for 2005 but I remember Yuzzum coming from Endor and not looking like the figure (short bodies, long legs and a different face). There's one singing in the re-mastered version of RotJ as well  lol

Gotta love a messed up franchise  :D

There's also the Lando Adventures trilogy that was re-printed recently under the 'Legends' umbrella.

Actually it’s a self portrait.
It’s James to a tee  :D

You know what you are don't you  >:D
cheers

James

 ;)

There is a slight variant called the Bibbly-Yuzzem, but I here they are quite rare...or so Cap'n Blood tells me, anyway.

To bad he doesn't live over here... I'd like to introduce him to a couple rude neighbors!  ;)

The paint job on the Yuzzem/Yuzzum is first rate. Love it!  :-* :-*
