I have legs and I'm not afraid to use them  lol

Going to draw the body up in cad and cut it from acrylic (it'll be more stable than sheet styrene) and then detail with styrene and bits as per every good Star Wars model should be  :)

The legs will be beefed up as well as I've thought the AT-AT legs were a bit spindly for the body and hauling knackered ships around is more of a heavier duty job than blasting rebel scum  >:D

Excellent idea to build something rather than debate the eating of eggs  ;)

Brilliant! I thought that was really cool when I saw it so it's  even cooler that you're going to build it.

Cheers fellas  :)

The lower chassis is drawn and I’ll cut it out tomorrow.

Thanks  :)

Lower chassis and axles have been cut and assembled. They need filling and sanding before being able to add the plates and details.

The legs have had some work done to them and need a fair bit more. They’re double sided onto the chassis at the moment but they will be magnetised to allow for easier storage (something I have a problem with  lol). I’ll be added some plates on the bottom of the feet after sticking some metal nuts in the to help lower the centre of gravity. I’ll probably have to do something similar for the crane but we’ll see when we come to it  :)

Much prefer watching this enterprise take form than getting caught up in : an alien infants dietary requirements and a warrior caste's shield maiden bespoke body armour.
