Good work on the cockpit! Looking forward to see more. At this pace the crane will be ready for Christmas!

True, but James needs to build at least two more cranes in case the first crane breaks down, and then needs a lift  ;)

No lighting at all in the cockpit!  :o You wouldn't see a thing outside in darkness, particularly not in the distance where the hook is or at the bottom where the load has to be lifted.

Interesting point but I’m afraid I’m going for rule of cool  ;)

I’ll put one white one in, the photo shows two red.

Begone you evil man!

cheers

Begone you evil man!

But there's another crane design now, so you have to.  :D

I’ll do a grab version that can be swapped with the normal crane  ;D

Cockpit windows are done (I also weathered the sides and rear of the main hull). I think I’ve got some tinted 0.8mm acrylic somewhere but if not I’ll just use some 0.5mm clear.

White lights for the win  :D

The silver foil in the top plate is sticky aluminium tape and it’s great for light blocking.

Next will be either to weather what’s been built or move onto the crane housing. Haven’t quite decided on the final shape for that yet though  :?

Amazing! So cool, especially the lighting!  And the fact it is an AT-AT!
