Tough call; the white on the sailors is very nice, but I'm having a hard time getting past the fact that they're all the same mini, except the gargantuan officer.

Grimm knows how to tell a story and he has done it again. I really love it. The thing I like best is that it's not really game related, but just a simple Chinese market shot. So cool!! The painting is really well done too and there is just so much to see on the shot! Fantastic!

I applaud the first entry for the sheer quantity...great work. The colors are really cool and pop well but in the end the story and total look and feel of Grimm's entry win it for me.

Again a difficult choice!

But the Grimm's market tells a story, so, it took my vote.

And here I was thinking it was Boris Johnson ... :D

So difficult to choose between these two, but i think I prefer the uniformity of the unit, even though they do appear to be (almost) all the same mini.

Who produce these nice chinese figures  ?

Once again Grimm takes the cake with a beautiful diorama. The sailors look good and the variation in uniforms is very nice, it adds variation without destroying the uniform look. Very good effort but alas against stiff competition.

Sterling Moose, your paintbrush is very crisp and I really like the "old school" feeling that the unique fig gives to the unit, but it's a hard matching and few are the ones who can compet with Master Grimm.  ;)
