I’ve just managed to finish off a squad of Catachan Jungle Fighters from second edition; these guys were released in 1994 and I’ve been planning to paint them for two and a half decades! Well now their time has finally come! There’s a few more photos on my blog!

I always loved those figures. Sadly I never got very many of them as $45 for a box of ten was too much for my college aged self.

Great paint on some of the best GW metal figures out there (in my opinion). I have an infantry army of metal Catachans and I wish that they were painted to this standard

Yep.
Gotta agree with all of that.
I had an army of the plastics and they just do not compare.

Thanks guys; greatly appreciated!! I painted each one individually rather than as a batch which stopped me getting burned out or frustrated. You’re right, these metal sculpts are just so much better than their successors. I’ve got a few more in my bits box that need some love!

Really love these figures and your pj does them total justice.

I love all the metal IG from this period. The Catachans and Valhallans are my favourite though.
