Indian ID please
« on: March 06, 2018, 08:05:17 PM »
I guess I should have taken a photo before I added hair to make them look like Taino...

Never mind , anyone recognise these? Thet must be quite old as they're quite short, but being short means  they'd make good Taino*

Not so old. The three figures on the left of the photo are Parkfield Miniatures F&IW Indians. They just happen to be from a 25mm line. They're currently in production, so buy as many as you want. There are also other poses available:

http://www.parkfieldminiatures.freeservers.com/

The guy on the right of the pic, dancing with the warclub, is an Old Glory F&IW Indian who's been slightly customized, his right foot has been cut free from his base and his left leg has been bent more, to put more action in his pose.

The OG F&IW range are sometimes called 28mm scale, but I judge them to be a 'robust' 25mm line. If you look closely, the OG casting is a couple mm taller than the Parkfields, considerably bulkier, and has a different scuplting style. I'd use them together though, because I like to field a wide variety of figures.
You'll shoot your eye out, kid!

Thanks for that, not only ID'ed but some interesting points too.  :)

Yes it was me who hacked and bent that one... made sense to me. Tbh I think that slight height difference could simply be written off due to their different footings, the OG is almost on tiptoe while the other feet are flat to the ground.

I hope you'll show your Tainos off when you've finished some.

Yes I will, although they're at the end of queue tbh.  :)
