"Star Trek" "Heroclix" Campaign Begins...
« on: March 09, 2018, 09:06:33 PM »
For those interested I've posted up a battle report using the new "Star Trek: Away Team" minis. It's actually the first time in many years I've actually used "Wizkids" models for "Heroclix" so hopefully I've got the rules right - we were using the 2017 version from their website.

We're hoping to try and play a load of games using this set, and where we can, actually re-enact or at least provide a sequel to a number of the original series episodes.

For starters we've gone for "The Devil In The Dark Returns"; a sequel to the March 1967 story  :D

I actually bought the Star Trek clix as well. My intention was to use them to play the Pulp Alley rules set to make scenarios similar to old Trek away team missions. Then I actually tried playing Heroclix and well now that is what I play.

Ordinarily I usually re-paint and re-base my "Heroclix" for other rule-sets, but purposely bought the "Star Trek" ones for "Heroclix". Now I've ended up buying a few more other super-hero related sets too, so I guess I'm hooked too, Spect_Spidey :-)

Thanks very much AWu. I'm hoping the tiles will suit quite a few games, as I find the paper maps a bit uneven.
