The dwarfs look good and the titel is quite a laugh. But the British infantry and the tank are just to crisp imho, my vote is theirs.

Both are very cool. I like the colors on the dwarves and the whole retro thing going on.
But I voted on the second one. It uses a lot of colors which you don't really notice because it all clicks together so well. It also feels like a "movie still" and you painted a tank...all combined makes this a fantastic entry and one of my favorites allready.

Tanks great
Now we know how you spotted the fault on some one else?s. Just for getting the sponson right I will vote for you. ;)
No only kidding, great paint job. :-*
Where did the tank crewman come from? Are they conversions? I like the touch of the chainmail face guard.
Really like the vintage dwarfs too. Brings back some fond memories I have been using some of these dwarfs as DnD characters for twenty years.

I wish I could take credit for the crew but they're not conversions. Great War Miniatures tank crew as they come, poured straight from the tin. It's funny you should mention that sponson business, as we can play that game here too. My entry contains a glaring* historical inaccuracy. Anybody who spots it wins some cake. Quite possibly more than one, but you have to guess the one I'm thinking of.

*Okay, it isn't glaring, it's pretty obscure. But I did agonize over it, because I'm such an anorak.  :)

Trench-clearing rails at Gaza? Or would it be a Mk IV where you rather wanted a Mk I, II or III?

I believe you are correct about the unditching beam and rail, but that isn't what I was thinking of. You get some cake anyway though for being right. Mark IV is correct for Gaza III. It's not that, but it's connected to that.

Is the Uruguayan town emblazoned on the side perhaps a little early for the brand name? Just a guess mind.

Nope, there actually was a Mark IV called Fray Bentos (but it didn't serve in Palestine so you get cake for that).

Just a little to late! Fray Bentos fought at Ypres in 1917, didn?t it? Nevertheless, that cute rumbling tincan got my vote instantly when I saw the pic.

It's not something to do with one guy having a gas mask case. My knowledge of the first world war is non existent but none of the other guys have one.
