Perry Desert Rats
« on: March 09, 2018, 11:11:45 PM »
Thought I'd post some pics of my ongoing Rats project. Figures are Perry plastics, Stuart is by Warlord.

Hope you like them :)

Fixed that for the OP, hopefully. The pics now show for me. PanzerLeader, if you get your image URLs from the GoogleGroups spot where they are hosted, you'll need to
a ) remove everything after the "jpg" and
b ) change the https to http.
Take a look at your message code by using the modify button for clarity.

Great painting, in any way! Been doing a bit of Med stuff myself recently and those Rats make a very compelling point for the Perry Plastics. And that tank turned out awesome, great take on the Caunter.

I can see the pics. Most inspirational. I have a Sicily 1943 ‘Airborne’ project that feels like it’s been embryonic for longer than WW2 - have yet to muster the courage to paint the minis. Look forward to seeing more.
My LAF Gallery is HERE

No pics here either.

Do you need to be a member of Google Groups to see them?

No membership apparently, but it might be a case of Google content being blocked by a scriptblocker? I can see them on Firefox for Android and Windows.

Facebook pics come with their own issues. It seems the URLs for them can for some reason change over time, which doesn't affect looking at them on Facebook itself, but does break any exterior links.

PanzerLeader, some nicely painted minis. I like how you have done the faces...perhaps too much white in the eyes and a tiny bit too big for my liking (people squint more in real life, especially in the heat of the desert) but well done!

One suggestion, remove that oversized radio antenna and replace with a piece of brass wire....it will look better ;)

What colors did you use for the uniforms??? It looks very nice.
