Re: Trojan Temple Project (2nd UPDATE: roof)

Thanks very much,  I hope you enjoy the pics of the next steps as well.

The roof cover is made from sand paper which is painted and drybrushed like the rest of the model.

The first ideas about the upper end of the wall looked a bit boring so I tried different kinds of crenellations and finally liked the stepped ones shown in the last picture best.

cheers Thomas

looks amazing! and suitably ambiguous in its origin, Could be greek, egyptian, perhaps even atlantean! :)

:-IIt's done :) the temple building is finished  :) :)

I am pretty happy with the result! From the first ideas and concept scetches to the finished model it was a interesting and challenging task  ;)

Thanks go to my tabletop mate Klaus-Peter for casting the about 1500 stones needed and to cast more whenever I had a new idea and changed the plan  lol

Be assured the following pictures will not be the last in this thread, because I plan to take some „in action“ pics in the coming weeks. However some of the minis for these are still on the painting table  ;)

Thanks for the nice comments,
cheers Thomas
