Really could do with a bit of advise please!

For the British grey tunic I haven't currently got any suitable shade in my collection. I'm open to any make, but prefer triads. Looking on Foundry site their 'British Gun Grey' looks like a good choice, or maybe 'German Late Field Grey'. As for the shades of khaki I really am not to sure.

Any painting guides out there that you guys know of, or would you be so kind as to share with me what paint colours you use?

Thanks for any help.

It doesn't have a list of what paints used but the Perry's have this nice guide of uniforms with some basic pictures that might help.

They were supposed to be a pale blue grey so I used Vallejo Model Colour 70907 Pale Greyblue if that helps? I mixed in light grey and neutral grey for shading.

While the grey serge tunics of the Camel Corps always seem to be depicted as a blue-grey, Fripp's painting of Tofrek show the Berkshires in a very pale grey with not much of a hint of blue in it at all. Pretty much the colour shown on the Perry website painting guide. Fripp actually accompanied the expedition so presumably his observations were accurate.

Make of that what you will.

Thanks for the assistance. I'll match them as closely as is possible to the Perry guide.
