Quality does make a difference. I've bought some super-tiny 00000 brushes, but they're not great. a nice sable 00 or 000, with longer bristles is much better. don't skimp on brushes if you can help it.

I do  pretty much everything with a WN size 2, although I do occasionally use smaller sizes.
