I have trench raids in mind since I did a wargame presentation at Tactica in 2014. Your post reminded me to continue that project!

Interesting game, and I had never heard of the Trench Hammer rules.  Are your figures 6mm ?

Thanks!

I helped develop the rules with Ivan of Nordic Weasel games, they are aimed at a simple, roughly platoon or so per side game.  You can find them here with a couple of reviews: http://www.wargamevault.com/product/229525/Trench-Hammer-WW1-fighting-on-the-cheap

Feel free to fiddle with them to taste... Ivan's core system is very open to modification.

All of my figures are 10mm Pendraken.  I usually go 6mm, but I wanted to be able to differentiate between specialists like rifle grenades, etc.  Whenever I get around to doing WW2 at roughly the same scale game, I will probably go with Baccus.

Ah, then it probably would work with 15mm too.

I know several guys online who are using or will use 15mm.  It is scale agnostic and based on Ivan's Squad Hammer rules.  Most will probably choose to use individually based figures, but as usual, I went my own way with a section being two 40mm x 20mm bases with 3-4 figures each.  That way I have the minimal number of "things" to move around the table, speeding things up, but there is some articulation to the squad for aesthetics.
